Job summary

Witham Oaks Academy in Witham is seeking a Year 5 teacher for three days per week from October 2026. This fixed-term maternity cover is 60% of a full timetable (Wednesday to Friday) starting 13 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching Year 5.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 5 to a three-day week timetable (Wed–Fri).
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to high standards of learning and behaviour.
