Teaching Personnel:

Role: Year 5 Teacher

Schedule: Full time

Location: Kirkby (L33)

Start Date: October 2025

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and skilled Year 5 Class Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking team from October 2025. The Role:
As the new Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and appropriately challenging. You’ll work as part of a supportive Key Stage 2 team, contributing to curriculum development and assessment practices. You will be expected to maintain high standards of classroom management and have a passion for helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. The position is full-time and will start in October 2025 to allow for a smooth transition and handover.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a commitment to raising standards
  • Have strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Be able to create a nurturing, supportive and stimulating classroom environment
