Role Overview:
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge our students in their final year of Key Stage 2. You will work closely with our dedicated team to deliver high-quality lessons, provide meaningful feedback, and create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is keen to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to the success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons for Year 5 students
  • Monitor and track individual progress, providing support where necessary
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all students can thrive
  • Encourage and motivate students to develop a love for learning and achieve their personal best
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for teaching and working with children at Key Stage 2
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or similar age groups (desirable, but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment
