An outstanding and well-respected two-form entry primary school in Cambridge is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their experienced Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils at a crucial stage as they grow in independence, maturity, and confidence ahead of their final year in primary school.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Role:
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
Support pupils to become independent learners with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
Use assessment to inform teaching and ensure good progress for all pupils
Foster a classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated
Work closely with your year group colleague and wider KS2 team
Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support learning at home
What We re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and progression to Year 6
Effective classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire
A creative, reflective, and inclusive approach to teaching
A commitment to high expectations and supporting all learners to succeed
