We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils during a key stage in their primary education and contribute to a school that values creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Year 5 curriculum

Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform next steps

Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL

Maintain high standards of behaviour through consistent and positive approaches

Support pupils in developing independence, resilience and a growth mindset

Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing

Contribute to year group and whole-school planning, trips and enrichment activities

Uphold school policies and promote our values in and out of the classroom

Take part in CPD, staff meetings and performance development processes

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

An experienced or aspiring Key Stage 2 teacher with a deep understanding of the curriculum

A confident practitioner who can challenge, support and inspire Year 5 learners

Someone with high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement

A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
