We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our dedicated team at a vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional eager to inspire and engage pupils in upper Key Stage 2. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs, with the position starting in September 2025.

Duties of a Year 5 Teacher:

1. Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all Year 5 learners.
2. Prepare pupils for transition into Year 6 by establishing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and independent learning.
3. Implement a variety of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
4. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated.
5. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure optimal pupil outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is eligible to work in the UK.
2. Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly for Year 5.
3. Holds high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
4. Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills relevant to Year 5.
