Job description

This primary school based in North Leeds are currently recruiting for a year 5 teacher. This is a Ofsted "good" rated primary school with hard working, committed and friendly staff. This year 5 teacher position is a temp to perm contract from September until the end of the academic year with a direct contract for the right teacher in September 2026.

The school is a 2 form entry and has pupils from diverse backgrounds and any experience teaching SEND pupils would be beneficial.

This year 5 teacher role is full time for someone who wants to narrow the attainment gap and see these year 5 pupils progress.

As a year 5 teacher you must have excellent knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and should be able to demonstrate a proven success teaching this year group. As a year 5 teacher you must be able to plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons.
