We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team from September 2025.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing pupils for the transition to upper Key Stage 2 and beyond. You will plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, fostering high expectations and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Year 5

• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience

• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing

• Collaborating within the Key Stage 2 team and contributing to whole-school initiatives

We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

• Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment requirements

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• A reflective and adaptable teaching approach with a commitment to inclusion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
