We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team from September 2025.
The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing pupils for the transition to upper Key Stage 2 and beyond. You will plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, fostering high expectations and a love of learning.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Year 5
Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing
Collaborating within the Key Stage 2 team and contributing to whole-school initiatives
We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A reflective and adaptable teaching approach with a commitment to inclusion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for professional development and teamwork
