Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a primary school in Barking (IG10). The role is a temporary contract starting November 2026 and running to July 2027, full-time, 8:30 am–4:00 pm, term-time only. UK experience with KS2 and QTS or equivalent is required, with safeguarding training up to date.

Right to work in the UK and references are essential. The school supports staff wellbeing, development and progression, offering opportunities for growth and potential permanent

Competenze

Mansioni

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a Primary school in IG10, Barking.

The position is open to experienced and qualified Teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year EYFS or KS1 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
