Overview

Monarch Education are working with a Primary School in Handsworth, Birmingham who are looking to appoint a full-time year 5 Teacher. You will be teaching a class of mixed ability pupils, delivering the primary curriculum. Planning will already be completed; you will need to differentiate lesson plans to meet the needs of the pupils. This role is to start ASAP and run until Christmas with the potential to extend into January 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a Year 5 class of mixed ability pupils, delivering the primary curriculum.
  • Follow and adapt planning already prepared to meet diverse learner needs through differentiation.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment and support pupil progress.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be able to provide 2 educational references which can support your teaching experience
  • Previous experience Teaching in KS2
  • Hold a DBS which is registered online with the DBS update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
