Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum
* Monitor, assess and support pupils' progress and attainment
* Take on leadership of a curriculum subject (History or Geography preferred)
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving classroom environment
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs
* Set and maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic success
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities in line with school policies
Person Specification
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
* Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 and the National Curriculum
* Effective classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for education and child development
* A community language is a bonus, reflecting the school's diverse intake
