Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is assisting a mainstream primary school in Hounslow Central to recruit a Year 5 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role from November 2026 through July 2027. You will deliver lessons across KS2, focusing on English, maths and foundation subjects, while supporting pupil progress and behaviour in a supportive teaching team.

The role offers Outer London M1-M6 pay and ongoing support from an education consultant, with a commitment to high expectations and pupil progress.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Primary teaching experience, ideally KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Positive, flexible approach and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
• Teach English, maths and foundation subjects.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet needs.
• Establish clear routines and maintain positive behaviour.
• Support pupils to develop independence and prepare for Year 6.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share planning and resources.
• Communicate with the wider school team.
