Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a Year 5 Primary Teacher for a full-time, long-term role in Barnet starting in November. You will be based in a KS2 class, delivering engaging lessons, planning, marking and assessment in line with the National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will have QTS, recent primary KS2 experience, strong classroom and behaviour management, and the ability to plan differentiated lessons.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Previous primary teaching experience, ideally in KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment.
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
