You’ll be taking responsibility for a lively, curious Year 5 class with strong support from colleagues and senior leadership. The school offers a positive learning environment with clear routines, excellent behaviour, and a focus on both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom where all children are supported to succeed
Monitor and assess progress to inform next steps in learning
Work collaboratively with TAs, leaders, and families to support each child’s journey
Contribute actively to wider school life and events
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience in KS2 (Year 5 preferred)
Strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and outcomes
Someone who is organised, reflective, and ready to hit the ground running
