Job Description:

Advert

We are excited to be recruiting for a resilient, passionate, innovative, and highly-inclusive part-time teacher to work in one of our Year 5 classes from November (Term 2) 2024. This is a maternity cover contract for 3 days a week (0.6 FTE).

The successful candidate must be committed to ensuring our children have an engaging and enriched curriculum, with the best possible learning experiences, so they aspire to be the best they can be.

You should be willing to use your skills and talents to help foster a love of learning, independence, and a strong self-belief in our children. You also need the determination to ensure all children in your class can develop the ability to question and think for themselves. In exchange, we offer happy, eager, and well-behaved children, a supportive staff team passionate about all things ‘Bromstone’, and a high-quality CPD program with regular coaching.

We are proud to be a Nurture UK school and expect our staff to uphold these principles. Our reputation for inclusion brings a diverse range of additional needs to our classes, supported by our amazing team of support staff, with most classes having at least two TAs. This commitment to inclusion makes Bromstone a rewarding and fun, yet challenging, place to work; our experienced team ensures our staff and children enjoy and succeed every day. Our vision - Dream, Believe, Achieve - guides all aspects of our school.
