Position: Year 4 Teaching Assistant
Location: Saltley, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Daily Rate: £103 - £120 per day

Are you ready to inspire, support, and guide children through a vital stage of their education? A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Saltley is looking for a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join the Year 4 team this September.

What we're looking for:

Prospero Teaching are seeking someone who brings energy, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. You will be an important part in helping to shape an engaging and positive learning experience for pupils.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Have experience working in an educational setting (primary school experience is a plus)
  • Be confident supporting children with a range of learning needs
  • Be proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

In this role, you will:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support children individually and in small groups, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Assist with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and pupil progress tracking
  • Contribute to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for all learners
