Job description

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £200 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 4 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Year 4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Proficient in using educational technology
  • Additional certifications in special education or literacy
  • Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Collaborative and supportive school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
