ASQ Education seeks an exceptional Year 4 Teacher for a highly regarded independent preparatory school in South West London. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, until the end of the current academic year.

The school demands high academic and pastoral standards and a teacher who can establish high expectations quickly. The successful candidate will have QTS, proven Year 4/5 UK teaching experience, excellent classroom management, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to outstanding

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Proven experience teaching Year 4 and/or Year 5 in the UK.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils.
• Experience within the independent sector is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 4 curriculum with a focus on high academic standards.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and assess pupil progress.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and pastoral care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity across year groups.
• Contribute to school life and extra-curricular activities as appropriate.
