Job description

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Euxton

Job Details

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £200 Per day

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Year 4 students in line with the national curriculum.
  2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.
  3. Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  5. Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Experience working with Year 4 students.
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning.

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential for permanence later.
