I am working with an excellent school based in Swindon. Pupils are welcoming and friendly and the environment is calm and settled. Here pupils engage with teachers and have positive relationships with all of the teaching team which helps them develop both academically and personally. Curriculum is constantly updated and reading is prioritized which the students love. The school has a strong strategy to educate students on their mental wellbeing. There is a multitude of enrichment activities which the students take part in such as forest school, sailing and archery

The role is for a September start as a permanent position within the school. As a Year 4 teacher, you will be planning and delivering lessons across a variety of subjects to the Year 4 children to engage their learning. The aim in this role is to make learning engaging and fun, following the curriculum and promoting independent learning.

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate with parents and teachers in order to foster positive relationships.
  • Planning and delivery of engaging, inspiring and adaptable lessons.
  • Empower students to help them make informed choices.
  • Offer well-structured and purposeful curriculum
  • Support students inside and outside the classroom.
