Teach Now Limited in Islington, London, is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to lead an academically able class of eight- and nine-year-olds, delivering engaging lessons with clear expectations. Two Teaching Assistants will support you to build routines and stretch pupils.

The role falls on the Inner London pay scale (M1 to UPS3) with a salary of £41,729 to £64,684 per year. The post is full-time, term-time only, 8:30am–3:30pm, starting 02 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience in a primary school, ideally KS2.
• Sound knowledge of the primary National Curriculum and Year 4 expectations.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Salary: £41,729 (M1) to £64,684 (UPS3) per annum, Inner London pay scale

Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main or Upper Pay Range.

The maximum salary of £64,684 is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3.
