Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum
Monitor, assess and support pupils' progress and attainment
Take on leadership of a curriculum subject (History or Geography preferred)
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving classroom environment
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs
Set and maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic success
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities in line with school policies
Person Specification
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 and the National Curriculum
Effective classroom management and communication skills
A passion for education and child development
A community language is a bonus, reflecting the school's diverse intake
