Job summary

Trust Education is partnering with a supportive primary school in the Rotherham area to recruit a dedicated Year 4 Teacher on a temporary basis. The role is based in Rotherham (S25) and focuses on delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Year 4.
• Be passionate about inspiring and supporting childrens learning and development.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.
• Be adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups if required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in a Year 4 class.
• Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with the primary curriculum.
• Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to support pupil progress.
• Providing high-quality teaching that supports pupils of all abilities and learning needs.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community during the placement.
