Job summary

The Trust Education is recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher on behalf of a supportive primary school in the Rotherham area. The role is a temporary placement with immediate start and involves delivering Year 4 lessons and contributing to pupil progress.

Successful candidates will hold QTS, have Year 4 experience and demonstrate strong classroom management and teamwork. DBS check required prior to start; competitive pay rates offered.

Year 4 Teacher Location: Rotherham (S25) Contract Type: Temporary.

Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in the Rotherham area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in a Year 4 class
• Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to support pupil progress
• Providing high-quality teaching that supports pupils of all abilities and learning needs
• Contributing positively to the wider school community during the placement

Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Year 4
• Be passionate about inspiring and supporting childrens learning and development
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have a proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning
• Be adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups if required
