Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Windsor, Berkshire (Fringe). This full-time, permanent role supports a Year 4 class, building on Lower KS2 foundations in literacy, maths, and science, with emphasis on MTC preparation and independent learning.

ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. You will work with a supportive SLT, access CPD, and benefit from a Fringe-scale salary reflecting Windsor’s proximity to London.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven teaching experience in Key Stage 2 or Year 4 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Key Stage 2 lessons with focus on reading, writing, and maths.
• Prepare pupils for the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) with daily arithmetic practice.
• Assess pupil progress and coordinate catch-up interventions with teaching assistants.
• Differentiate activities to support SEND/EAL and stretch higher-ability pupils.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and communicate with parents.
