We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 4 class teacher to join a dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experience to Year 4 pupils, with a particular focus on strong behaviour management and supporting pupils with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages positive behaviour.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with pupils with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
