Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an outstanding Year 4 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. The role requires QTS and KS2 experience, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high expectations for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and high expectations.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a Year 4 class, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment information effectively to inform teaching.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, learning, and attendance.
• Support pupils' academic, personal, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.
