Job summary

Supply Hive Wales is seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher for a full-time role in Cardiff. You will plan and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons, assess progress, and adapt teaching to keep every child moving forward. You’ll work with colleagues and keep parents informed to support a strong team approach.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, is registered with the EWC (or eligible to register), and has an Enhanced DBS (ideally on Update Service). Salary £173-£180 per day, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary classroom (Key Stage 2 is a bonus).
• Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service.

Year 4 Class Teacher - Full Time, Cardiff

Supply Hive Wales is looking for a primary teacher to take on a full-time Year 4 class in Cardiff. Year 4 is a lovely age - curious, chatty and ready for a bit more independence - and we'd love to find someone who enjoys bringing that out.

The role

• Full-time class teacher for a Year 4 class, Monday to Friday
• Planning and teaching engaging, well-paced lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Assessing progress and adapting your teaching so every child keeps moving forward
• Working alongside colleagues and support staff, and keeping parents in the loop

About you

• QTS, with experience teaching in a primary classroom (Key Stage 2 is a bonus)
• Registered with the EWC as a school teacher, or able to register
• An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
• Organised, positive and great at building relationships with children
