Hays Education are currently supporting a large primary school to recruit an experienced year 4 teacher for a two-term maternity contract starting in September 2025.

The role is initially for two terms but could be extended for the full academic year.

The school is seeking applications from experienced teachers and ECTs with experience teaching year 4.

Your new role

As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering interesting and accessible lessons to students in the year 4 class to ensure literacy, numeracy, and curriculum targets are achieved. You will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering engaging lessons. This opportunity is suitable for teachers on MPS 2 and above, although ECTs and NQTs are encouraged to apply.
