Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a primary school in Kingswood, Bristol (BS15). The role is full-time, five days per week, starting in September for the entire academic year.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, mark work, monitor progress, and manage behaviour while supporting an inclusive classroom environment and attending school commitments.

Experienced KS2 Teacher Wanted - Full Academic Year

Are you an experienced Year 4 or KS2 Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity in Bristol?

Protocol Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Kingswood, Bristol (BS15) for a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September.

This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week role for the entire academic year. The school is looking for a confident and resilient teacher who can take full responsibility for their class and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

About the Role

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Marking and assessing pupils' work.
• Monitoring and supporting pupil progress.
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively.
• Attending staff meetings, parents' evenings and other school commitments.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team.

We are looking for:

• UK QTS is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Year 4 and/or KS2.
• Ideally, candidates will have completed their ECT induction.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A confident, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Ability to take full responsibility for a class.
• Commitment to the entire academic year.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
