Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion for inspiring young learners? We are seeking a fully-qualified, dynamic Year 4 teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at our school. This role is a Maternity Cover.

Job Role: Year 4 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover

Location: Nelson
Start Date: 1^st September 2025
Salary: £130 - £150 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time – Maternity Cover.

The Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons to a Year 4 class, ensuring that all pupils make excellent progress both academically and personally. You will also work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4

- Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills

- Is reflective, resilient, and committed to continuous improvement

- Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
