Year 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Enfield

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant. Starting September 2025, this full-time role is ideal for someone who brings both structure and creativity to classroom support—and understands the magic that happens when pupils hit Key Stage 2.

Location: Enfield
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, term time only
Pay: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

The Role:

Year 3 is where curiosity takes centre stage. Pupils are starting to think more independently, explore new subjects in depth, and stretch their imaginations. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be right beside them—guiding, encouraging, and helping to smooth the transition into more formal learning.

Key Duties:

• Supporting class teaching across core subjects including reading, writing, and maths
• Delivering small group interventions to boost understanding and confidence
• Assisting with classroom routines, transitions, and pupil organisation
• Encouraging a growth mindset and supporting wellbeing
• Contributing to a calm, purposeful learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in KS2 or upper KS1 support (Year 3 experience a bonus)
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent background in education/childcare)
• A clear, kind communication style with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum and safeguarding best practice
