Job summary

Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Morecambe for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

Working in a Year 3 classroom, you will support teaching and learning across settings, deliver small group interventions, provide targeted 1:1 support, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment to support pupils' academic and social development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
• Experience working in a primary school setting is essential.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the whole class alongside the class teacher.
• Deliver small group interventions.
• Provide targeted one-to-one support where required.
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
