We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Gosport, starting in September 2025.

Role: Teaching Assistant – mainly general support with some 1:1 SEN work
Location: Gosport
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Term-time, full or part-time (please specify)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the role:
This is a predominantly general Teaching Assistant role supporting our Year 3 class with day-to-day classroom activities and helping to create a positive learning environment. There will also be opportunities to work 1:1 with children with special educational needs (SEN), providing targeted support to help them thrive.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience or a strong interest in working with primary-aged children

Is patient, caring, and adaptable

Can support classroom learning and assist with SEN interventions

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively

Is committed to promoting the success and wellbeing of all pupils
