Year 3 Teacher KS2 - Doncaster Primary School (Part-Time, June - Summer 2024)

Academics LTD, a Doncaster-based teaching agency, is supporting a local primary school with a temporary, fixed-term role for a Year 3 teacher.

The position is to start after half-term on June 3rd and will continue until Summer 2024, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. The school is committed to creating a warm, caring, and inclusive environment where all children can reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with another class teacher, primarily on Thursdays and Fridays, and will be responsible for planning, marking, assessing, attending meetings, and engaging in school community activities.

Applicants should have up-to-date knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, with recent experience in Year 3 being advantageous. The school is located centrally in Doncaster with good transport links and offers a supportive, creative, and nurturing environment. The curriculum is traditional, complemented by enrichment activities to foster a happy and active learning atmosphere.

This role involves working with mixed Year 1 and Year 3 classes, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, including SPAG, Phonics, and promoting independent learning. The ideal candidate will hold a valid enhanced DBS or be willing to process one through Academics.
