Year 3 Teacher - Outstanding Preparatory School – Slough

Responsibilities of a Year 3 Teacher

• Responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
• Teaching the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
• Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
• Helping children develop their writing skills by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
• Tracking children's progress and reporting back to parents when necessary.
