Job description

North West England, Lancashire, Chorley

Temporary, expected to work part-time hours

£150 - £200 per day

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Year 3 students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop lesson plans and share best practises
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Passion for teaching and supporting student learning
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Additional training in special education or literacy instruction
  • Part-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
