We are working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Redbridge seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2 teacher is required from January 2025.

This fantastic primary school is searching for an outstanding KS2 teacher who can start in January 2025. This is a significant position within the school, and the successful applicant will join the school's extended leadership team. Strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving Year 3 class beginning in January 2025, are required for this position. Only exceptional, experienced KS2 teachers will be interviewed for this permanent full-time position.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment, as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

  • As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
