Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a maternity cover basis starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support individual learning needs

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

• Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding

Ideal Year 3 Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Year 3 Teacher.

• ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply

• Overseas-trained teachers with relevant qualifications will be considered, provided they have strong spoken and written English proficiency
