Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school team. You will support pupils as they make the important transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons that nurture curiosity and build independent learning skills. Starting ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 3 curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
  • Track, assess and report on progress, setting clear next steps for improvement.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil wellbeing and achievement.
  • Contribute to whole-school activities, trips and enrichment opportunities.
Ideal Year 3 Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable; motivated ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners aged 7–8.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
