Year 3 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)


Location: Norris Green, Liverpool
Start Date: 2nd September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Salary: M1-M6, dependent on experience

We currently working with a a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school located in the heart of Norris Green. This schools dedicated staff are committed to providing a safe and stimulating learning environment where all children are encouraged to thrive, achieve their potential, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Role:


We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team from 2nd September 2025 to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time position, with the potential for future opportunities within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge all learners
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where pupils feel valued and supported
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and enhance pupil outcomes
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Is committed to promoting high standards and raising achievement
  • Is an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Welcomes collaboration and values professional growth
