Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 3 Primary Teacher for an inclusive primary school in Kidbrooke, Greenwich. The role involves planning, preparation, marking, and parents’ evenings to support pupil progress in a busy Key Stage 2 environment.

The contract is temporary full time starting in September for the Autumn Term, with view to extend to the whole academic year. The minimum rate is GBP 160 per day, with hours 8:00am–16:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Strong KS2 national curriculum knowledge.
• Strong behaviour management.
• Extensive SEN/EAL experience.
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Class Teacher - planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture and high expectations.
• Collaborate with SLT and colleagues to support pupil progress.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 3 Primary Teacher for an inclusive Primary school in Kidbrooke, Greenwich. The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. The position is only open to qualified and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
