Job description

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to take full responsibility for a well-behaved and eager-to-learn class of lower Key Stage 2 pupils. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and setting targets.

  • Foster a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, assemblies, and extra-curricular activities.

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • A child-centred approach and a passion for helping pupils reach their full potential.

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
