Year 3 Teacher - Long Term Maternity Cover - Primary School - Doncaster - September 2025 to July 2026

Are you a passionate Year 3 Teacher looking for a rewarding, well-supported role that allows you to focus on what you do best - teaching? Academics is delighted to be working with a welcoming Doncaster primary school to recruit an inspiring Year 3 Teacher for a full academic year maternity contract starting September 2025.

This Year 3 Teacher role runs until July 2026 and offers between £820-£1,300 per week (based on £164-£260 per day, PAYE only - never via an umbrella company).

We understand that teachers thrive when they're supported, respected, and given the space to do what they love. That's why every consultant at Academics is a former teacher - meaning we know exactly what you need to succeed in the classroom and can help you navigate the transition into your new school.

Why this Year 3 Teacher role is different:

  • Long term stability - one class, one school, one year.
  • Weekly pay via PAYE - no hidden deductions or umbrella companies.
  • Full consultant support from ex-teachers who understand real classroom life.
  • If the role isn't the right fit, we'll find you another - no questions asked.
  • Opportunities to build a small group of core schools you return to regularly, so you can form genuine relationships with children and colleagues.

The benefits of supply teaching with Academics:

  • No marking into the late hours - more time for your personal life.
  • No endless data drops or progress trackers.
  • No constant meetings that drag you away from teaching.
  • No politics - just teaching and making a difference.

Academics has helped many teachers fall back in love with teaching by putting their careers back in their own hands. We provide long-term contracts like this Year 3 Teacher role, but if something isn't right, we'll simply find you another - giving you complete flexibility without sacrificing security.

You will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • A commitment to making learning engaging and accessible for all pupils.

If you're ready for a Year 3 Teacher role where you're supported from day one, respected as a professional, and given the opportunity to truly make a difference without unnecessary pressures - we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and let Academics guide you into a role that allows you to teach, inspire, and thrive.
