Job description

We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator who is eager to make a positive impact on pupils during a key stage in their academic and personal development. Beginning November 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and inspired to learn.
3. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching as needed.
4. Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil development.
5. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally with knowledge of Year 3 curriculum expectations.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• A reflective practitioner with excellent communication and organisational skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
• A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils.
