Overview

Year 3 Primary School Teacher – Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to work in a primary school in Redbridge, East London. The school is a three-form entry school with a supportive leadership team and offers training for all staff. The position is open to both ECT (early careers teacher) and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, there is a chance the contract can be extended or become permanent.

Contract / Position Details
  • Location: Redbridge, East London
  • Position: Year 3 Primary School Teacher
  • Type of work: Class teacher – planning, presenting, marking work, parents evenings, etc.
  • Start date: January 2026
  • Duration: 1 term contract (may be extended)
  • End date (if applicable): End of term 1
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
  • Pay: Minimum pay rate depending on pay scale
  • Location/Working pattern: Full time
Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • QTS/ECT or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience teaching KS1 or KS2
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the past year
Eligibility to Apply
  • Have a valid right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update service
  • Provide two child-related professional references from the past two years
