Responsibilities

• Lead the Year 3 phase and collaborate with teaching staff to develop effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
• Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the phase and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
• Lead and participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Year 3 Teacher, ideally with experience in a leadership or phase lead role.
• Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies.
• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
