An educational staffing agency is seeking a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in an outstanding primary school in East Bristol. The role involves providing 1:1 support and collaborating with teachers for an effective learning environment. Ideal candidates will have school-based experience and a proactive approach to learning. We’re working with an Ofsted Outstanding school in East Bristol looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Year 3 pupil as they settle into the new school year.
You’ll be a familiar, friendly face each day, helping build confidence, routines, and engagement with learning. This isn’t just support work, it’s relationship-building at its best.
Monday & Friday: 8:15am–12:15pm
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:15am–3:15pm
1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil throughout the school day
Assisting with tasks, focus, transitions, and confidence in class
Collaborating with the class teacher and SEND team
Supporting wider classroom routines when needed
Someone with TA or school-based experience (KS2 ideally)
Calm, consistent and great at building trust
Proactive and ready to support learning creatively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
