As a Year 3/4 Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, helping pupils transition smoothly from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, while building their confidence, independence, and academic skills. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3/4 Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Supporting pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Encouraging independent learning while providing targeted support where needed.
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress and attainment.
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience.
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil development.
  • Taking part in school events, extracurricular activities, and CPD opportunities.

Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3 or 4 (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
  • A passion for engaging and inspiring young learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3/4 Teacher.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
