Job summary

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with children in a school setting, a patient and encouraging approach, and strong teamwork and communication skills to help pupils develop academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils at primary level is desirable.
• A patient, caring and encouraging approach.
• Confident working with both individuals and small groups.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about helping children develop academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to pupils in Year 2.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Support individual pupils and small groups where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
